“Art is what you can get away with.”

When you are not able to draw or paint
Growing up I showed little interest or talent when it came to drawing or painting. For the life of me, I could not express the images in my head with a pen or brush.
In high school I bought my first camera, and for years I used it to document moments in my life. Eventually I got to know some real photographers, who inspired me to think differently when it came to using the camera.
For a long while I was very happy-go-lucky with my photography. I did not even understand how to use the different programs on the camera. I just used auto, and had little eye for composition. I had a long lasting ambition to learn more.
Going through a difficult time in my life, photography became my therapy. I invested in a mirrorless camera and a drone and finally started to learn how to express myself visually.
